Orphanage – Disabled Centrum The Sisters of Saint Paul de Chartres

The orphanage manages a nursery school of about 400 children between the ages of 2 and 5.

Children of destitute families are divided into 10 classrooms. They receive the education here that they never could have received in the familial circle, as well as, the basic nursery school program. This school is recognized for the quality of its education. This is based upon the accuracy, the strictness and as anywhere else in this institution, the listening to and encouragement of the children all accompanied by the kindness and compassion of the staff.

All of these children are not residents and return to their homes every evening. Parents pay a small contribution about 350.000 VND, about $20, to help defray the salary of the teachers and the meals for their children. The orphanage often has to absorb these costs in charge for several children of families that are too poor to pay.

	Behind the standard nursery program, special attention is given to elementary hygiene and to the respect of the family values.
